Bismillah
Salamun Alaykum noble beautiful souls,
I pray that you are all well during these most unprecedented times and finding that inner strength and peace in seeking proximity of Allah swt.
Let me share some of my humble reflections though it requires further research and esoteric dimensions to get to the depth of the beauty of Insha-Allah.
How frequently we use this beautiful word ‘Insha-Allah’, how our Merciful Allah unfolds this soul abundant concept. But as His servants, we need to further extrapolate its beautiful meaning and marvel this word every time we say it!
“وَلاَ تَقُولَنَّ لِشَيْءٍ إِنّـِي فَاعِلٌ ذَلِكَ غَداً
إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ إِذَا نَسِيتَ وَقُلْ عَسَىٰ أَن يَهْدِيَنِ رَبِّي لِأَقْرَبَ مِنْ هَٰذَا رَشَدًا
“And do not say, regarding anything, ‘I will do that tomorrow,”
“Save (say): ‘If Allah pleases’, and remember your Lord when you forget, and say: ‘It may be that my Lord will guide me to a nearer way to the right than this’.
As kids growing up, we were moulded in the love of this word inshallah’. Especially as mums, we keep reminding our children to set goals and aspirations first and foremost with an intention for every task with Insha-Allah as the focal point, if God-wills.
What Insha-Allah does?
It grounds us to feeling our spiritual poverty, makes us humble, moulds and shapes our surrender to Him, and our dependency only to Allah swt. It gives us confidence in the Almighty Allah azza wa Jallah’s plan, and brings sukoon and a sense of healing, it brings new hope and optimism in life and understanding Insha-Allah requires humble patience as God’s will spreads out. Whilst we put our entire trust in Him, and by consciously regurgitating the mantra of Insha-Allah clears our anxieties and our unknown fears, curbs our lower self (ego) and provides a little order to what can be a chaotic life — knowing that each of us are on the quest of becoming God centred.
Thought-provoking verses 23/24 from Sura Kahf (The cave), glorious Qur’an.
May Allah swt infuse our hearts with the light of Qur’an.
